Virgin Returns Home
28th October, Rosary group members flocked at the Sulit Residence in Berwick Close to say the Rosary. Susan Sulit welcomed them on behalf of her family. For this night's short talk, Pietro Albano discussed the importance of prayer and spending time on it as individuals and as a community. He also discussed the family as a 'domestic church' and shared excerpts from the writings of two modern popes - Paul VI (On the Devotion to Mary) and John Paul II (The Rosary of the Virgin Mary).
Susan later led the community in reflecting on the Glorious Mysteries. This was followed by Intercessory Prayers and a fraternal dinner offered by the Sulits. Participants then walked to Arnside Road to bring the image to its home at the Albano Residence. Susan, in the presence of her husband Meng and daughter Nadine, turned over the image to Nida Albano who was accompanied by her husband Pietro and their daughter Chiara.
The Albanos were the ninth home completing the loop of families that have participated in this October devotion.
