Rosary Devotion A Success

October ended in a high note as the Filipino Neighbourhood Rosary Crusade in Bestwood-Daybrook Areas (Nottingham) gathered once again on 31st October for the devotion’s Culminating Activities.

At 4.30pm they attended Mass at the Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church in Bulwell. Fr Paul Newman, Parish Priest, welcomed them and mentioned the group’s intentions in the Mass. Romy and Precy Lagman, representing the group, were the offerors.

Right after the Mass, members proceeded to the Albano Residence where the Rosary was recited. Nida Albano led in reflecting the Joyful Mysteries while Jackie Rapada led in the singing. Intercessory Prayers followed which included a special prayer for all families and a moment of silence for the faithful departed. This was concluded with the singing of the ‘Ama Namin’ (Our Father) with participants holding each others’ hands. In his Message, Pietro Albano thanked everyone for their participation in this month-long devotion particularly the families who have welcomed the image in their homes. He also acknowledged members for their outstanding contribution to the devotion. Tokens of appreciation were given to these people.
