Jude and family with Mary

Eighth of October, a day after the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, saw Filipino families congregating at the Mabalot Residence to pray. Joey Mabalot led in the recitation of the Rosary; the Luminous Mysteries being meditated on. Following this was prayer of petition for the Mabalots and all families who have welcomed and/or are due to welcome the image into their homes. Victims of the typhoons in the Philippines were also remembered. A moment of silence was devoted for participants’ personal intentions. Joey later read the Farewell Prayer.

Members proceeded to the Amamio Residence in Belconnen Road, Bestwood. Joey turned over the image to Jude, Jean, and Anton Amamio. Jude led in the prayers. The Amamios were the third family to have received the image.
